A Little Taste Breakfast Food

Overnight Oats

Yeah, I’m getting on that bandwagon.

I have trouble getting a good breakfast in the morning — it is just one of those things.  I get up in the morning and I run until I leave the house, then all the sudden OMG no breakfast.  And then it’s, “oh well”.

WELL, “oh well” no more!  I found a fount of these recipes online so I combined a few of them and came up with something lovely and creamy:

The ingredients for overnight oats.

OVERNIGHT OATS

1/3 cup Old Fashioned Oats

1/3 cup Milk (Almond or Cashew Milk can be substituted)

1/3 cup Greek Yogurt

Sweeten to taste (everything from sugar to Stevia)

Mix all this together then add in fun stuff…

ADD-INS

Tropical: coconut, pineapple, mango (you can use froxen they will thaw overnight)

Banana Split – pineapple, strawberries, banana (you can even sprinkle on some mini-chocolate chips if you want)

Red Is Rad – raspberries, pomegranate seeds, strawberries

Smoothie Goodness – straberries and banana (if you don’t like soft bananas, put them in when you’re ready to eat it)
